You should never store your skis in an attic or garage the temperature and humidity levels are subject to change frequently and can cause your skis to rust.

But temperature changes greatly affect skis and these storage places aren t really the best options for them. Also make sure to store your skis in a way that doesn t compromise their shape or put any strain on them.

Not too hot not too cold and definitely not too humid. The best place to store your skis during the off season is in a temperature controlled environment that is away from the sun. Just make sure that your skis are dry before putting them away and always leave the bag unzipped to allow moisture to escape. Keeping your skis in a ski bag for the off season is a good option.

Store ski boots in a zippered boot bag in a cool dry place such as an interior closet. On the flipside skis and snowboards should never be stored in a hot attic or other location where excessive heat could damage composite materials. Skis are pretty large when it comes down to it. Also storing skis and snowboards in a neutral position without any pressure on either camber or rocker is preferable.

Such as your bedroom closet or even underneath your bed. We recommend that you store skis and snowboards standing up. Do not store boots on a basement floor in a crawl space or attic. The natural reaction is just to shove them in the garage or attic and be done with it.
