Solidworks Sheet Metal Bend Lines Not Showing

Expand the flat pattern feature right click bend lines and select show or hide.

Select a flat pattern from more views. The bend lines and details appear on the part. In the featuremanager design tree expand drawing view to show the flat pattern feature. Go to the feature tree and expand the view and drill down to the bend line sketch right click on it and set it to show.

I have 2012 so i can t send you a part or drawing to show you. Click the arrow in the upper right that points to the right. In the drawing go to the left hand side where your feature manager tree is and go to the drawing view that highlights the flat pattern. Left click to place flat pattern on the drawing.

Go down the part tree till you get to the bend lines right click and select show sketch later john. Go to the view drop down menu or the view heads up menu and select sketches. Unsuppress flat pattern save the part. This toggles the visibility of sketches and if it is off the bend lines sketch will be hidden the second method i used was to expand out the flat pattern in the feature tree and find the sketch bend lines2 could be other numbers shown.

Select tangent edge tangent edges with font to show bend region lines in the specified document line font. Select edit feature and clear merge faces. If the bend region lines do not appear go back to the part window and right click flat pattern in the featuremanager design tree. Make drawing from a template.

You may have to rebuild the drawing to see the tangent edges. In the view layout toolbar select model view. Hiding the bend lines also hides the sheet metal bend notes.
